A collection of short stories of various genres. Focusing on mystery, surrealism and absurdity and taking on the atmosphere of 'The Twilight Zone.' Stories include those that depict interiority through exterior descriptions, such as 'The Surrounding Wall.' There are also stories such as 'The Cliff Upon the Island' which draws upon Aldous Huxley's 'Island,' 'LOST,' 'The Island of Doctor Moreau' and 'The Prisoner' for a surrealist mystery and exploration of dream-like imagery. 'Upon finding, burn' tells of a bank teller who finds the same person every day withdrawing money from different accounts, and being unable to figure out who this person is. There will also be the story 'The 954 Society' which dives into a mysterious group, akin in a way to Isaac Asimov's Eternity in 'The End of Eternity,' but more historian than a Miltonic God. Stories such as 'Nuclear Dreams' will draw upon dreams of my own, in an attempt to tell vivid dreams I remember akin to Akira Kurosawa's 'Dreams.' The goal of this project is to write short-form stories, as opposed to my regular novelistic writing, which is something I have become rather familiar with (after writing around a dozen novels in the past 8 years). The timeline of this project may take a long time, since I would like for it to include many, many stories.
